Well 2023 has come to a close and I find it helpful to look back. It helps me with perspective as I tend to be the type who is always looking for the next adventure. Sometime we just need to count our blessings.
- Started a new flight job with Guardian after leaving Carilion.
- Traveled to 7 states for my new job
- Learned 4 new airframes (C90, PC-12, A-star, 407)
- Had 12 rentals cars (Favorite is Hyundai Palisade so far)
- Flew over 46 flights with United Airlines alone making it to Silver premier status. Flew on others but United the most
- Started a blog to practice writing and storytelling of my travels.
- Completed 62 patient flights (way less per year than my last job)
- Went on my first cruise
- Took kids to 2 water parks
- Visited Anna Maria Island, FL
- 2 trips to Sandals Royal Plantation in Jamaica
- Tried SCUBA
- Taught my kids (and nephew) to drive Hank the Tank
- My children started high school.
- Finally got Lasix to fix my eyes after all these years.
If 2023 is any indication of the trajectory of my life then I’m super excited to share with all of you what 2024 brings.
