So it took me 2 tries to get to Denton, Tx. United Airlines was on the struggle bus this month.
This trip is to get my night vision goggle training up to date and my safety training up on a new airframe for me – H130. I was selected to help open a base that will have this airframe starting in April. Of course the best part of it all was getting to hang out with friends and co-workers as that is a rare treat for us floats.
It was also fun to run by the In and Out Burger near the hotel. I find that to be a treat because we don’t have them in Virginia. The halls of the training building also has some history and photos from Life-Guard where I first started in flight.
It was a short trip but again it was awesome to see some friends even if only for a short while.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
