One of the things we do as a family is try to make memories rather than collect stuff for birthdays, Christmas etc. This month is my son’s 15th birthday and he chose (with some influence from me) to return to Kings Dominion.
Gabriel has become a fan of roller coasters and it make me happy to share this passion with him.
There are not many photos of our time as we were busy making memories and just riding rides. Some of the best ones required us to leave our phones with someone outside the ride.
Last time we went to Kings Dominion I rode a new ride – Twisted Timbers and Gabriel was too small to ride. I lost my hat (despite sitting on it not wearing it) last time. So I ended up buying a Twisted Timbers hat to wear the rest of the day. This time I was able to share the trills of this hybrid coaster with my son. Just when I thought things couldn’t get better – the crowds were small and we barely waited in line all day. We rode almost all the rides we liked the most at least 2 times.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
