January has me back in Rosebud, SD. This tour was a tough one. The photos above represent what time of day we flew the most – nights. We also transported lots of children for various medical, trauma and mental health reasons which is trying for me. It was busy also – 13 flights despite being out of service for maintenance for 2 of 10 days.

So this is my office and my very exhausted partner.

This tour was not all hurt kids and long nights though. I remained disciplined about my workouts and got to eat at an Inn and Out Burger after one transport. Double double – animal style!

On the way to the airport I made a stop at the infamous Wall Drug – popular in adventure motorcycle circles anyways. Got an amazing doughnut and a coffee.

I arrived at the airport and go through security. Waiting at the gate area just before departure this fella came up to me and allowed me to pet him. Therapy dog in training. I love golden retrievers and this fella was soothing to the soul after a long stretch at work.
Finally arriving home and crashing, I had been awake for 41 hours straight. A full night sleep and some snuggles from my own golden were refreshing.
Where do you think I am off to next? What else am I working on? Leave me a comment with your go to Inn and Out Burger order?
Seek adventure and get busy living.
