I am a flight nurse and paramedic. For all of us in the industry we have a habit of mocking each other as means of showing affection. This is not confined to the flight world but is common in all EMS agencies, fire and police departments and even in small units of the military.
So when I wanted to start sharing my travel experiences publicly it hit me to maybe have some fun and name the blog after the term used by pilots who refer to medical crews as “self loading baggage”.
