What can I say other than – It snowed? A lot. Like 4-9 inches per day. Every day.
I know it sounds whiny….. I do love the caribbean but this amount of snow is just wild to see.
I will concede the snow brings about a quiet, peaceful calm across the area that is quite serene early before most awake and I can just enjoy a coffee by the fireplace and look out the window at it.
This hitch wasn’t too busy. Just enough to stay engaged. I did get a chance to experience kindness from the local folks. Had some things back home that were a bit stressful and through that they were all super supportive of me and my family. For that I will always be thankful. I also was part of a very complex couple of transports and I was really impressed with the crew on one in particular. None of us had worked together before and we communicated well and overcame multiple unexpected challenges that presented during the flight.
As always the scenes over the Great Lakes are beautiful. One day I will visit in the summer.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
