This year our summer beach trip is off to a rough start. Amy’s Grandmother passed away earlier in the week and the funeral was planned for our departure day.
After the funeral we hit the road. We made it to about Atlanta where we crashed into a hotel for the night then resumed our journey in the morning.
I’m gonna be honest – I didn’t take as many photos as I normally would. We spent time just being together. We also had a few rainy mornings that slowed us down.
The house we stayed in was one of the nicest ones we have ever rented but beach access wasn’t super easy.
Amy and I did take some time to go visit Ally’s Beach nearby – a planned community that is on our shortlist to visit as a couple. The town has a Mediterranean aesthetic and upscale feel to it.
Our trip was short but I’m happy we went.
