Well the name of this story will be “delay of game”. I was sick with a nasty fever and had to call in for a couple days, then when ready to go United Airlines had other plans. Delayed by another day of flights delayed. I was to work in Reno then Elko but by the time I arrived in Reno I was there only one night. Off to Elko I went after on night. It was snowy there but about 10 miles out of Reno it cleared up and smooth sailing to Elko.
Elko was steady but not busy. Got to meet some great folks new to the base. New crew quarters too. I even go to meet the boss’s dog. All in all it wasn’t a bad rotation. Flew home by way of Salt Lake City. Lots of driving this round.
Short stay due to my delays from illness and flight delays.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
