Its July and I’m fresh off a beach vacation and back to work. Back in Wyoming. The first couple days I am working with another float – Ken! Ken has been a friend to me since the very beginning of my time as a float nurse.

My first 3 days I am in Gillette and it was busy but I got stuck flying all day and duty timing out in the evening. The remainder of the time I am in Worland. The drive is nice but long across the upper part of Wyoming.
Arriving in Worland things got busy – I have a new float coming to train with me and my partner is still new to flight nursing. We were busy training, flying, doing skills, and of course paperwork.

I was exhausted at the end of this hitch but working with Jami – my orientee and new nurse on the float team is awesome and kept me motivated to keep training and flying. She is with me for 2 more rotations then off she goes on her own.
I’m back in Wyoming next round.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
