Wait!? This is your third visit in less than a year?! Yeah….. so I can explain….

So we had planned a family vacation in July, asked off for work and reserved an Air BnB etc. Then our kids had an opportunity to go to a conference with their youth group from church. We couldn’t do both because of time and work schedules so we let the kids pick what they wanted to do – they chose the conference over beach trip.
So we canceled our Air BnB and began the brainstorming process. Searching the Sandals website for their famous 7-7-7 deals we found a deal on our favorite resort and booked it.

We cashed in our United Airlines points and flew to Jamaica once again.
The staff greeted us the signature “Welcome Home” and the pampering began.

Weather was nice, a couple days the water was rougher than we have experienced before but not so bad to keep us out of the water.

In all of my experiences the thing that makes travel so worth the cost and effort is the people. This trip we met more couples from all over whom we made friends with, got to know the staff even better and experienced the best of humanity once again.

We had our 2 hour drive back to the airport and off loaded our luggage into the fray to check our bags in and as we walked up the Club MoBay kiosk Amy cannot find her phone! Ok… so I called the phone and the taxi driver answers it – thank God. He agrees to bring it back to me. I waited outside and he pulled up about 15 min later. I gave him another tip and thanked him profusely.
I was angry at first and Amy was super anxious but I stopped and realized that I should be thankful for many things: We had T-Mobile and I could call the phone in another country by simply calling her phone because it was on and not in airplane mode, the driver was able and willing to return relatively quickly and that we were not rushed to get to our flight causing us to choose flight or phone.
We went to spend another week in Jamaica to rest and recharge with each other and flew home with new friends and more faith in humanity that people will do the right thing when you need them.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
