My 2024 began and ended in the same building: The Guardian hangar at Escanaba. Looking back helps me count my blessings of the year and keep the spark alive to keep seeking adventure and stay busy living.
This year I:
- Volunteered to work with a sister company from February till October on a military base.
- Visited St. Augustine, FL
- 2 trips to Sandals Royal Plantation
- Over 23 rental cars for the year (I drove for my work rather than fly most the year)
- Listened to 22 audiobooks and numerous podcasts while working out and traveling
- Took every chance to visit museums on and around Fort Liberty
- Tried SCUBA again
- Signed up to take SCUBA open water class in January
- One of my kids got their learner’s permit
- Visited a new state for work – South Dakota
- Visited Mt Rushmore – A bucket list location for me.
- Was awarded Flight Nurse of the year by my boss whom I deeply respect.
As always I’ve met the most amazing people when traveling for both work and fun. People are really the best thing about travel. I’m excited to see where 2025 takes me and my family.
Seek adventure and get busy living.
