Back to where it all began for me as a float flight nurse. This hitch was good for so many reasons. I got to go back to where it all started and work with the folks whom I began this journey with. In addition I got to fly with a good friend and fellow float which is a special treat in this position. I also go to spend a few minutes with my boss which is also a rare 1-2 times per year encounter.
Not too busy. The first part of the hitch we didn’t even fly much at night which is a rare blessing. The last couple of nights were long ones though.
One of the challenges of going to Wyoming is getting home usually adds a day to my travels. So I was there and extra day but no sightseeing as my extra day was spent on crew rest due to a long night of flying instead of exploring.
It was good to go back to the beginning and fly where I spend my first 10 days of flight medicine with the company. Good times and got to fly with friends. Until we meet again my Wyoming friends…..
